Pet friendly caravan park

Anchorage Holiday Park provides accommodation facilities which are pet-friendly at Iluka, New South Wales. The holiday park is located conveniently close to the Clarence River. The type of accommodation varies from roomy caravans, camp sites to self-contained cabins. It includes spa cabins, deluxe, queen, queen duplex, verandah and pet-friendly cabins. Visitors are allowed to bring pets during their stay at 2 pet-friendly cabins – Koala and Gecko Cottages. The queen duplex cabin is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 4 people.

Visitors can engage in activities like fishing, birdwatching and walking trails. Iluka offers beaches and a World Heritage Rainforest with various kinds of wildlife for nature enthusiasts.

Pets are allowed to stay within the pet-friendly cabins. However, they are required to be on leash at all times, outside the cabin and within the premises of Anchorage Holiday Park. Further, doggy bags are provided to visitors to maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the area. Needless to say that this is a very Pet friendly caravan park. Pets are restricted entry in communal areas like playground, amenities, camp kitchen and pool.

The holiday park also offers campsites, which can be powered or unpowered. These can accommodate a vehicle, tent, and a boat/trailer. The powered riverview sites come with concrete wheel and annexe pads. These sites overlook the Clarence River, which gives a beautiful view for the campers.

The facilities provided within Anchorage Holiday Park are park kiosk, wireless internet, fax / photocopy service, camp kitchen, fishing jetty, free gas barbecues and pedal trek hire. In addition, a heated pool, spa, toddlers’ wading pool and a family bathroom that is disabled – friendly, are also available at the park.
